Apple ][

My dad got an Apple ][+ when i was in grade school.. he had a 300 baud modem and a subscription to a service called "The Source", which i imagine he used for research or something, but i was able to play blackjack on it! i remember always having to recalibrate the joystick, the green screen and not having enuff memory to run color games (the apple ][+ was the 'business model', with only 64k of ram, whereas the apple ][e had 128k)..

The following games should not go unnoticed, but do not work with the available java emulators, either because of crappy joystick support, or the need to swap disks (many games shipped on opposite sides of the same disk, instead of separate disks). they're not necessarily the most popular games, but regardless i spent a lot of time with as a kid..: Archon, Autoduel, California Games, Captain Goodnight, Conan, Drol, Dino Eggs, H.E.R.O., Miner 2049er, Montezuma's Revenge, Tass Times in Tonetown, Thexder..
